Electronic Hydrometer / Liquid Density Monitor
The Eagle Eye SG-100M specific gravity meter/liquid density monitor will replace ordinary glass bulb and optical refractometer hydrometers that are limited in range, utility, and functionality. The SG-100M has an in-tank, drop-hang submersible probe that measures, monitors, records, and controls specific gravity/liquid density during a mixing, blending, fermentation, distillation, or plating operation. The SG-100M offers many user-customized options that allow the instrument to fit your exact measuring needs. The measurement probe can be purchased independently or for integration into an existing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). Optional 4-20mA analog output board or dual 5 amp relays for automatic process control are also available. Cabling is either Teflon or PVC depending on the measuring sample.
The SG-100M is easy to use and versatile. Simply submerge the measuring probe up to 500 feet and connect it to an electronics module to provide digital readouts of user-defined values such as Density, Specific Gravity, Baume, Brix, and Alcohol %. Pressure is irrelevant for the SG-100M, it can measure in any depth or density of liquids or slurries. The measurement probe is chemically resistant with PVD/Teflon wire strain relief and 315 stainless steel springs.

Custom packages allow the SG-100M to meet your system's requirements. The SG-100M measurement probe can be purchased as a stand-alone piece to use within your system and PLC. Optional dual amp relays and 4-20mA output board are features that the SG-100M can be built with or without. The optional 4-20mA analog output allows for automatic process control, allowing you to continuously monitor and manage your solutions.
